the summer break is over and your blog for contemporary electronic and club music is back! Like the legend of the Phoenix…. No, let’s skip that. No news about Daft Punk or any of these kind. This week I would like to provide you guys with some new banging tracks but also some stuff from the first decade of this millenium. Shaking heads? Don’t. The new big thing in electronic music will be Tiesto playing “Deep House”. Haha. No, seriously the prediction for the future: minimal house with a touch of vocals. Nevertheless, here’s the tracks of the week and also the latest mix. Download it at soundcloud.com if you wish and want to support this blog.
One of the greatest tracks of this year is definitely Agoria's not yet released track “Scala”, which has been played by Dixon and the Innervisions-crew over and over. Here’s the link to it - it’s not a proper version since it’s been ripped off Pete Tong’s radio show. Still give it a listen, because this one is huuuuuuuge!
Another big one lately has been Mind Against “Atlant”. Summer melancholy at it’s best. This one has also been hammered by the best - also included in my latest mix since you can’t just get around it.
Berlin based Nyma, who has released on M_NUS already talked Loco Dice into his new stuff. His new EP came out on Desolat and goes by the name “Flip Side”. The EP does not only feature terrance house but also a lovely hiphop-beat. Check it out ya!
Defected’s sub-label DFTD will release Aaron's EP “Feelin’ This”. And yes, I do feel this track. Lovely vocals on a percussive bassline. That’s all a good track needs.
Bit older but still hot is Daniel Taylor's "M.O.R.D. (Loco Dice Remix)”, which was released on former British imprint Four:Twenty. Just a great track for a bad summer party wherever you are. Also check out Loco Dice's remix to Dennis Ferrer's track “Son Of Raw”, also included in my latest mix. Here are the links:
That’s it for the week. Be back for more next week. Until then party hard and follow me on soundcloud.
