Desolat returns with their annual X-Sampler featuring some old and some new artists such as Shlomi Aber, Argy, Danny Ocean but also the likes of Carlo Lio or Eddie Fowlkes. The tracks are pretty techy - some are more a tool than actually a whole track - and not as surprising as other releases on the label, but surely do their job on the dance floor. Merely the label heads themselves Martin Buttrich & Loco Dice are missed on the sampler.
Eric Volta returns on No. 19 with his Blood Burgundy EP combing once again deep-house with trance elements and vocals pretty close to song structures. Seems as if house music approaches to pop music once again.
We have Leftroom Ltd. on the map again, whose next release will be from Inxec & Mark Jenkyns, two labels veterans. The EP “Broken Wings” includes even a remix from freaky Canadian producer Konrad Black. Electronic darkness for the clubs.
Talking about Canadians, Richie Hawtin's label Plus8 has to announce a new release for March. After almost two years without a new catalogue number the chosen one is Testpilot with his track called “Sunspot (White Space Conflict”
This week we finally enjoy Innervisions latest release, which is a remix EP of Michael Gracioppo's “Creep”. While Tale Of Us supports us with a typical version of their style, it’s the Recondite versions that set the pace.
Beside Innervisions release Mind Against were happy to announce the release of their EP “Several Times” on Life And Death. Pure clubby techno music for your mind, taking you on a trip to neverland without knowing where you are.
By the way Innervision 50th release is around the corner and due on March 17 including four EPs with highly anticipated tracks from Recondite (IV50.I), Orson Wells (IV50.IV), David August (IV50.III) and Sandrino & Frankey (IV50.II).
That’s it for the week.

Welcome to Torture the Artist's music selection for Valentine's Day! Expect highly sensual tracks with vocals to melt away…. maybe!
The perfect track for the perfect day is “Perfect Like You” by Ricoshei due on February 17 on Pampa Records. Until then fellas grab your boo and get your roll on with with release on DJ Koze's label.
Mr Goosebumps - Bon Iver - is remixed by Ripperton the result of this duet is “Wash - Monsters at Night Remix”. But be certain that this one does not scare anyone or anything away but a none-candle-light-mood.
Again Ripperton. Again a remix. But this time the Swiss producer gets his hands on Robert Babicz's track Venus Transit and delivers a more club orientated work, which may be an approach for an After-Valentine's-Day-Party. The whole EP was released on Marc Romboy's imprint “Systematic” earlier this week.
Sascha Dive digged deeply into Frankfurt’s music scene to find vagabond Reboot and his new six tracker called “Deep V” out on Deep Vibes Records. Finally something new and worth from Reboot who comes up with some minimal house stuff partly combined with ethno-vocals.
For all of you, who do not want to create an own playlist for Friday I recommend Martin Buttrich's mix for System Podcast featuring many of his own and latest productions for labels such as Desolat, M_NUS or Supplement Facts. Enjoy
Torture the Artist wishes you a happy Valentine’s Day. Stay tuned for new music and in the meantime follow us on soundcloud for breaking updates.
